We will be accepting the hand ins on Sunday 19th from 2pm to 4pm. (Please note that the gallery will be in use by another user group on Sunday morning)
Collection
The date for collection is Sunday 10th December from 2pm to 4pm or by arrangement. If you are unable to attend or and do not have someone else to collect on your behalf, please get back to me.
Summer Exhibition 2023
‘4 Dundee Artists’
An exhibition at the Roseangle Gallery, 17 Roseangle, Dundee DD1 4LP
Friday 30th June – Saturday July 22nd, 11am – 4pm daily (except Mondays)
The exhibition will feature many works (over 60 in total) by four Dundee 20th-century artists — Alberto Morocco, David McClure, James McIntosh Patrick, and Ian G M Eadie. Most of the works are being borrowed from private owners, including the artists’ descendants.
The four knew each other well, and all had connections to the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.
This year is particularly significant, it being 25 years since the deaths of Morocco, McClure and Patrick, and 50 years since the death of Ian Eadie.
It is hoped that art-lovers from the Dundee area and beyond will take the opportunity to view this exhibition.
The event is being organised by Alan Lawson, assisted by Jim Barnes. Last summer A.L. organised a well-received exhibition at Roseangle of the works of John Maclauchlan Milne.
