"I have a great passion for colours and textures, especially those of the sky. I get really excited when I see clouds with subtly blended edges on one side and bright contrasting light on the other side. I use oils and prefer to work on MDF board - most often with sponges but also the occasional large brush. For me, the physical process of re-creating skies in my studio is like rising up to a higher world of beauty and wonder."
