"Since retiring in 2000 from the NHS I have been able to pursue a more artistic lifestyle. I studied at evening classes in water colour at the Arbroath Angus College under the direction of Norma Maclean but I now have found that pastels give me more fun and satisfaction. Under the tutorage of Fiona Haldane have developed a great love for this medium and particularly find animal studies most enjoyable."
