Dawn Brooks:"As a self-taught artist I continue dabbling with new media, and learning by trial and error. Since my first attempts in 2002 I have now sold many paintings and received commissions. I enjoy attempting to capture and reproduce the image of a beautiful scene, but most of all I delight in the challenge of catching a good resemblance in portraiture of either people or animals."

Tom Eunson: Tom was born in Leith, his first artistic interest was music from the age of seven. Later he became a brass and dance band musician with with no interest in painting, until convalescing after a long term illness he took to free lance cartooning to while away the boredom, with moderate success. This interest for the human condition possibly accounts for the subjects mainly used in his paintings.

Elizabeth Drysdale Kay: Originally from Toronto, Canada I have returned to painting after many decades as a graphic artist and designer. After secondary school, I graduated from Toronto’s Central Tech in the early 1970s. Here I was fortunate enough to have studied under well know Canadian artists including Audrey Garwood and Doris McCarthy. The later had studied directly under Arthur Lismer of the ‘Group of Seven’ fame. This no doubt has had a great influence on my work as I try to establish my own painting style and experiment with the Scottish landscape and other subjects. VIEW PAINTINGS BY ELIZABETH

Walter Watson: We moved over to St Andrews in 2006 when I retired from a medical science career in Glasgow.  When I was working I didn’t make much time for painting but now I can’t stop.  I have become fascinated by the big skies and the picturesque wee towns and villages along the Fife coast.
