Exhibitions - calls for submissions
To all members:
 Recently I have been getting emails about galleries or exhibitions with an invitation to submit paintings, so in conjunction with the Webmaster we have created a new section to contain all these invitations. If I come across public notices advertising submission dates for exhibitions (e.g. for The Society of Wildlife Artists) I will put them in this section as well, along with local opportunities like the shop in the Wellgate Centre. Here are the first entries.
If you take up any of these opportunities please remember to tell them that you got the information via the DAS website. This is very important as it shows people who bother to contact us that we are actually passing the information to our members.

I would like to introduce our new gallery to you which will be opening in January. The Tower Gallery will be a friendly contemporary gallery situated in Kirriemuir in the beautiful surroundings of the Angus Glens. We hope to be a showcase for the best emerging talents in painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles, photography and design. I recently visited the exhibition at the Dundee Art Society and admired the work which was on display.
